Our new 36 foot X 16 foot pile barge is designed especially for Lake Murray dock construction. The sectional construction design however, will allow us to more easily transport it to other South Carolina lakes and ponds when necessary.
 
It has two, side-by-side, 36 foot X 7 foot sections with a connecting grid in the center. The grid is also sectional, and doubles as ramps for the on-board excavator (track hoe). These ramps make it possible for the excavator to leave the barge, traverse mud and water, and crawl ashore.
 
The size, shape, and weight of our new craft allows it to reach a very efficient hull speed of 7.5 mph. It has an empty draft of 5.5 inches, and a fully loaded draft of 9 inches.
 
Trade secrets are important to any conscientious company. Advanced Docks is no exception to this rule. Our customers, though, have made our growth possible. With this in mind, we would like to share sketches and pictures of what we hope will be a truly efficient piece of equipment.
